About Mitchell Spearman
Mitchell is the Director of Instruction for TopGolf in North America and the United Kingdom.
Mitchell Spearman is one of the leading instructors in the world. He has been recognized by Golf Magazine as being in the Top 100 instructors for over a decade. He has worked extensively with renowned players Including Nick Faldo and Greg Norman. He is also frequently in the media sharing his expertise with ESPN, The Golf Channel, Sports Illustrated and Golf Magazine.

TopGolf Academy Objectives
Our objective is to provide the most effective programs for learning to play the game of golf. Our programs and lessons structure cover the full range of needs from those wanting to just get started to the junior who wants to play competitively.
To do this we provide a unique combination of learning facilities, including our climate controlled studios, leading use of technology, and of course our unique target practice facilities. We do also make use of golf courses around each location.
Program Structures
Beginner
Get on the fast track by learning the basic techniques of golf. In a non-intimidating environment we'll have our instructors teach you all the basics you need from a good set up to a great swing. Each week a different aspect of the game will be covered giving you the confidence to practice with a purpose and to get you out on the golf course.
Ladies
Come to our special ladies only schools, where in a social atmosphere you'll be encouraged to learn at your own pace. There will be a lively mix of all the components of the game. From beginners to the more advanced you will be carefully guided in how to get your game to the next level.
Short Game
Learn to master the secrets of the short game and shave those much needed strokes off your game. We'll give you the skills needed to deal with the various shots you'll be faced with around the green: pitching, chipping and sand play not to mention how to sink those putts with confidence.
Intermediate
Designed for those who already play the game of golf. Upgrade your skill level in all aspects of the game and improve your consistency. Our Instructor will take you through an in depth program that will take your game to a whole new level.
TopGolf Schools
The TopGolf schools are designed for those of you who would prefer to be taught in a group environment to private lessons. Specialized groups are developed that help target specific elements of the game.
The schools include Beginner School, Ladies School, Short Game School and Intermediate/Full Swing School. Schools cost $200 a person.
These Schools provide the added benefit of introducing you to other people who are interested in the game of golf and socializing.
Clinics and Group Sessions
Clinics are offered throughout each week with no charge to our members. The clinics cover both how to play the TopGolf games and five general themes of playing the game – driving, short game, putting, full swing and faults and fixes.
Group Sessions are for those interested in developing their game but whose busy schedules do not permit them committing to one of our TopGolf schools. The sessions cover the different areas of the game and take an hour at a time.
Private Instruction
Private instruction utilizes state of the art technology which includes in depth video analysis of your swing. In addition, your instructor will give you information to access a weblesson that will allow you to review your session in the comfort of your own home or office. The weblesson includes drills to help improve specific areas of your game. The benefits of private instruction include fully flexible timing and a tailored focus on your game and your key areas of improvement and interest.
In addition, Academy offers Trackman, a groundbreaking golf ball tracking system which shows the exact path of your shot and gives you instant feedback such as spin rate, launch angle, club speed and much more!
