Mark Walker

Director of Golf

Mark has over 19 years of professional golf experience. He taught golf at such prestigious courses as Big Canyon Country Club and Santa Ana Country Club in Orange County, California and was the International Director of Instruction at the Brunnthal Munich, Germany golf range. He has been responsible for a full range of golf instruction including the development and implementation of industry leading instructional golf programs, direction and training of professionals and apprentices, coordination of tournaments and high profile seasonal golf tours.

In addition to his extensive instructional and managerial experience, Mark holds the following distinctions:

• 1996 Class A professional and member of the PGA of Germany
• Lead golf instructor, International Golf Club Maxiriam, Germany 1995-1997
• Teaching professional, International Golf Club Egmating, Germany 1992-1995
• Southern Germany PGA Sectional Events 1994-2004
• Players ability test, 1989
• Bilingual/fluent in German and English

AJ Avoli

Certified Instructor

A.J. joined the Top Golf Academy in 2008. He has over 5 years of professional experience in the golf industry and has a degree in Professional Golf Management. A.J. has taught at many world- class facilities including PGA West, and The Doral Golf Resort and Spa. In this time he earned a Jim McLean Certified Master Instructor title. He has conducted numerous private lessons, golf schools, junior camps, and cooperate events. A.J. has been trained and influenced by five Top One Hundred Instructors including Mitchell Spearman, Jim McLean, Mac O’Grady, Jerry Mowlds, and Carl Welty. He enjoys teaching players of all levels and is available for instruction year round at our Dallas location.
